Re: Aerox's US East (updated w/ports + non-steam)
It is with some regret that I must announce the "server" (a Dell Optiplex 760) that's been running the servers is being retired. If you're looking for a server (or servers) or want a hand setting your own up, please let me know at least a day in advance via reply or PM and I'll see what I can do (I'...

Re: Aerox's US East (updated w/ports + non-steam)
Glad they could be useful!
Every once in a while the steam ones stop working. The internet must have blinked or something, because I've never seem them all go down at once. Usually only one of them naps.
I have one or two who might be interested with a bit of notice. Thanks!

Re: Aerox's US East (updated w/ports + non-steam)
I had to turn off the computer these run on a few days ago (there was a power outage and the UPS can only hold for so long). I forgot to turn them all back on.
Non-steams are 7786 (DM) and 7788 (TDM). I updated the front post to make it easier to read. Things were jumbled.
Sorry for any trouble.

Re: Aerox's US East (updated w/ports + non-steam)
These servers will be down for a couple/few hours over the next 2-3 days as I update the machine they're running on and get it onto a UPS. If they're in use, I'll wait until later to work on it.

Re: Anything........
Sorry for the server downtime! I try to keep a DM and a TDM running. I usually check them before I go to work, but I forgot for a few days.
If it happens again, shoot me a message and I'll take a look.

Re: How-to server setup & hoster/provider advice germany
Hi nexus6! The only hard requirements as far as I know are that the machine must be running some version of Windows (presumably any hosting service would offer a new enough version) and that you need a dedicated Steam account for that machine if you want the Steam integration. On my old machine each...

Re: Aerox's US East
We have some friends of the family in Chatham! I grew up in Schoharie county (~45m west of Albany), but recently moved here to cut the ride to work back.
Nice to see some "locals"
