Re: what i think about this game and suggestions

A tractor beam could require unobstructed view. If there's an obstruction, no point it works.

In addition to that, there could be ship scrape sounds and radar, both of which are from D2X-XL, to be implemented in SolC.

Re: New SolC media!

Hey Bryan, once you have anything you'd like to show off go ahead and post! We'll be looking :) Here's what you want. A model of a switch/trigger that behaves much like the switches in Descent 3 when fired upon, but it triggers by proximity. It doesn't usually get destroyed, unlike switches in Desc...

Re: New SolC media!

All right, DuderSeb. I'll let you know when I'm going to show off, I do.

BTW, I'm getting used to UE4, and see if I can try to implement 6DOF using C++ without Blueprints... so that I can import in levels, models, and assets created by your team into it.

Re: New SolC media!

OK, but I would love to see 6DOF gameplay mixing with modern FPS counterparts! :) Anyway, I got UE4 recently after registering my account on UnrealEngine.com, and I would like to help out by contributing to the SolC project, in terms of designing levels and models, planning stories and creating char...

Re: I've got something to say

You're welcome, I know that SolC: PG is a demo. However, I do have yet another feedback. For future releases, I would like for different ammunition-based projectile weapons aside from dispersion and gatling cannons, including mass driver/railgun/sniper and flamethrower (both of which are similar to ...

Re: Sol Contingency Progress Statement

Is this the expanded version of DM_Vertigo? Presumably, yes.

You guys upgraded from UDK (UE3) to UE4 already? I think so.

I've got something to say

It's been almost a month after I first played SolC: PG. It somewhat reignited my fond of 6DoF games such as the Descent series of games. The environments are much similar to what today's first person shooters (such as Doom, Call of Duty, Half-Life, etc.) look today. It's a major leap of earlier 6DoF...
