There's also the fact that you're not going to hit with every "bullet" from a single volley every time. I was just trying to grasp if there was some definitive formula. That being said let's discuss the term weapon balance for just a second. How exactly were all these weapons tested? Should not all the (primary) weapons take a players ship from 100 / 100 to 0 / 0 in the same amount of time given the fact that every single shot of the weapon hits every time?

Perhaps it would be a good idea to wait for the UE4 conversion to add mines that way it would probably be a lot easier for you guys.

Is the equivalent in D:U that laser grid? I hear nothing but complaints about that thing. I deplore that laser grid! And yes, I concur about the shaking. I spilled my coffee all over the cockpit! Can it be a ramped affect? From very little to full on teeth rattle about half way through your timer? ...

The fact remaining that everyone starts with lasers and they seem weak makes the point temporarily, moot. If you don't like them, use something else. I love using them. (Yes I miss those Yellow Quads and the sound they made.) My aim sucks, but I'm trying to improve. Still playing with my settings. Y...

[Workaround] Keeping up with chat.

Use tilde. ~ Will bring the console down. All chat is there. Not handy in the heat of gameplay, but it works. Works in the death and end of level screens too.

I concur. The game loads quickly. Framerate is great. Everything looks, and sounds outstanding.

Honestly, Interplay should have sent you job applications.
