My two cents. I like the idea of having multiple spawn points for the Invul and Cloak but, have only one spawn at a time perhaps? 1/2Hawk, perhaps to balance the Invul the players ship speed is decreased or their energy usage is increased or shields are at 0 when it wears off. Would anyone have a problem with increasing the velocity a bit? It doesn't quite have the feel that it's really moving at extreme speeds. The effect gives it that, and yes it's faster than the lasers. How much faster is it than the Gatling?

Could not recreate here. My System kept the Speakers active for SC (after I switched) while I could use the Headphones and listen to something else.

I was thinking that the Ion Cannon's shots can stick to player ships. Increase the shot size to make that more probable. Increase energy consumption so that it won't last in a dogfight. Decrease shot movement speed. It'd then make for a good close range surprise attack/ambush weapon. You could also...

Personally I think it's already pretty slow. The concussion shockwave is a good idea though.
How many Dumbfires can the ship hold now?

I agree the dumbfires have an obscuring effect. The ship explosion has a very distinct gaussian coil effect. I watch for that. If perhaps making that a bit bigger would help?
Losing my target in the effects isn't so bad for me. Can't hit the thing anyway. lol
