For those who wish to contribute at some point and time in the future, you may want to check out this little gem for ACAD DWG drawings! :D

A Free Online App:
AutoCAD 360 Web is a browser-based application that lets you view, edit, plot and share your designs from any computer with internet access.

Not so useful to this thread, but my parents are architects so I have been experiencing the full suite. My last creation was a mimic ancient greek amphitheatre, though it's been years since. Never had the chance to actually put this knowledge to good use, even as a hobby thus far.

Cool! Maybe you could post it sometime if you happen to run across it?
BTW, how much was that Full Suite you mentioned when it was purchased? Just curious, not that it's important.
Don't tell me, it came bundled with a new contract commission for compatibility right?

You did see the words in BOLD that said FREE right? 8-)
Well - maybe just as an incentive to put innovative new tools to good use - and of course, they also offer a DWG viewer/editor for your phone too! :)
So you could view, comment and change content currently being developed, while on the go - or at least not currently at your desktop CPU. Granted, I know most people didn't used to take their work home - but that's been changing for some time now.

I posted it in the regular forum so everyone could see it, not just the guys on the developer team.
Call me a nut, but for some reason I seem to enjoy PR work! :D Especially with cool new tech & new ideas about how to do things a bit easier, albeit misguided sometimes - but I do try! ;)

Ehm, right. Forgot to mention how cool is what you posted EXACTLY because the suite is so unreachable to people out of the relevant profession. Forgive my rush. I remember however that for making really demanding 3D structures especially, you would need some resources. Not impossible with html5 tho. And I for one is in favor of using free and open source software (especially the later rather than the former which is more popular :P), only that for somethings there isn't really much to go this. So way to go for this ACAD web interface!

Thanks! :D

I have a slight problem though, with a multilingual chat suggestion I made for possible inclusion into the game - whereas we need a ML base font that could be edited into a font that might also be used throughout the game, other than the chat.

I'm posting this here to maximize possible coverage, and since not all fonts are multilingual - I've been searching for fonts to review, so if some of you know of any hopefuls - I'd be glad to check them out.

Something similar to these that include multilingual characters:

And for the digital display, this is the only one I could find so far that includes multilingual characters:

Thanks in advance for your responses! :D

They do call me captain obvious, but what we are looking for should be UTF-8 fonts right? If we are to include all languages, why not provide full customizability by including various symbols as well. In addition while ML fonts (if that doesn't mean UFT fonts) may not be all that easy to find, UTF fonts are pretty standard, although pretty non-fancy too...

EDIT (feedback on posted ones): I especially liked V5 ampron for HUD, and borg 9 for crates, and other PTMC dusted equipment and bots. These are just first examples of course. I'll be on the lookout for more.

EDIT EDIT: YOu do know we can make our own right? But Europe multilingual only I guess, I'm not gonna start drawing ideograms. :P

Hmm, didn't really check on the symbols yet - but although larger because of the extra language support and unicode format, I believe it's UTF-16 based fonts that ship with windows that would be the most compatible for current and future font families in normal use.
I was merely looking for the multilingual characters in the fonts I found, UTF-8 or 16 - but 8 would be the more efficient font for speed of loading and access.

EDIT (feedback on posted ones): I especially liked V5 ampron for HUD, and borg 9 for crates, and other PTMC dusted equipment and bots. These are just first examples of course. I'll be on the lookout for more.
Of the ones you liked, although the sharper fonts draw faster - the smoother more rounded fonts look cooler, and most likely will look better from a distance using whatever multilingual decal system we come up with like using Scaleform(as in Doom3 consoles) which is also hooked into the language systems.
So every bit of text display we do will be language sensitive.

EDIT EDIT: YOu do know we can make our own right? But Europe multilingual only I guess, I'm not gonna start drawing ideograms. :P
Yes I know, and part of the reason I made the initial font post - to possibly speed up the development of font based elements in the game that include the ML based fonts. Whereas, not including them may exclude many players from playing the game - because they don't understand the signage inherent in the gameplay.

There is a free iPad app also at the AppleStore

AutoCAD 360

The Autodesk 360 is not exactly for editing files. It is more of a filesharing and cloud computing application-you still need design products like 3DsMax, Revit, AutoCAD, and vice versa.
