The Mapping contest poll is now active. It will expire in 7 days! Good luck to all contestants!

I don't really want to make an account there though.

Forum accounts are separate from ladder accounts. You don't have to join the ladder to vote in the poll.

True, but I think for ease of everyone, the poll could be moved to DBB. In future contests, I want to also put the submission thread in the DBB because I'm fairly sure that most Descent pilots have accounts there.

I went ahead and moved the poll already to the DBB forums

I'd also significantly extend the voting period. Maybe even until the first release of SolC or something.
I mean, I don't really have time to play through THAT many missions.

Not to say my vote is that important. But still, 7 days to vote isn't much.

I put 7 days because the maps have been available longer. PPski's map, for example, has been available for a month. Only a few were submitted the day before the deadline. Besides, these maps are MP maps so you don't need a whole Lotta time to play them.
