I'm thinking maybe you could show a players name right above their eclipse, so it's easier to know who you're dealing with. This could maybe be a constant effect, or it could only show up when you hover over someone's eclipse with your reticle. Obviously it would have to be disabled when a player is cloaked and it should probably also be fogged a little on icebreaker in the foggy areas, to prevent people from locating you by your player tag.

Debug mode lets you do this. Ive had a look at most of the command inputs and object names but I dont think we can enable it with the build we have.

If you could do this in a multiplayer match it would be cheating, that's why the engine won't allow it.

We can't do this in a reliable way with UDK (it would have to include visual tracing of the player in question etc.), so we opted for player colors. You see the green ship in front of you, look at the scoreboard at the right and see the green name, that's the guy.
