Mouse control

Post by jakobdo » 05 Nov 2015, 13:24

Hello,
this is my first post to the beta forum, so i hope this is "ok" to post my question in here.
I have just player the SolC multiplayer, but i was irritated by when i move the mouse up, my plane goes down and vice versa.
I want my plane to go up, when i move the mouse up and vice versa.
I have tried to go into settings -> input -> mouse -> axes -> Side up / down INVERT. But same control as before.
What am i missing?

you were just about there. It was under that. It's the only option defaulted to "yes". I agree it should default to "No"

Hello guys!

The default setting is so that "mouse up" is "pitch down" and vice versa. It's typical for 6DoF, where you usually play with a joystick and the mouse replaces that, to "push" the stick forward (i.e. "up") to look down and "pull" the stick towards you (i.e. "down") to look up. So yes, it is the inverted version of a shooter's mouse look.

Simply change the inversion option for the up/down axis to make it mouse-look style.
