The PULVERISER it is a good idea. I like it more than SF-KW4H Eclipse, because Eclipse is too similar to Revell from Star Wars, while PULVERISER is more like Pyro. I am even willing to sacrifice a forward swept wing. When in fact, it would be even better if the ship had variable-sweep wing

As a compromise, If you turn on the imagination, this model of the ship at the same time similar to Eclipse and Pyro.

Or some other model from this source: http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/arch ... 77381.html

Another design option. I really like the design NAZCA. In my opinion, there are good ideas of the 20th century, which will also be relevant in the 21st century. If somehow take the best of these works, we find the perfect vehicle, which will not anything in other games, but at the same time will be similar to the Pyro. It is difficult enough, damn it, but finding a solution is possible.

Looks like Revell has the upper hand on SW ship configurations! :o

I would so love to introduce this awesome weapon to you!

I created this model while designing something bigger, which is known as the IC41 Illusive Craft (next model), because it is equipped with two of these emplacements. Must as well render the emplacements first because they would be too small to be seen by the time the whole craft comes out! Oh! And stay tuned for the craft too! :D

I also gave a whitish ambient to the image as I think it makes the emplacement stand out better! I also have another version without the whitish ambient, which I think also looks good! Must as well show you the best one! :D

Oh! And feel free to download this if you like it!
Hope you like it! :D

Critiques and comments welcome! :D
Some very cool lines on this one! 8-)

I actually think eclipse actually is the coolest so far and would look the best, but the others would look really awesome as enemy ships or something. some of those look quite intimidating, so would make perfect human enemies.

I know what you mean, and I started this thread as a design idea area really - since most of my experience is with mechanical engineering and aeronautics, so any design elements gleaned from what users post is another chance for cool looking content in the mining maps made by modders and players alike.
So, mappers creating content might also include static ship models as well - like in a hub map, that may also include shipping & receiving/departure elements. As in a small hangar bay area at an entrance to one or more mines, that could contain other types of ships - similar to the courier ship posted here, possibly even included in a short MATINEE sequence for a cutscene about the mine and it's supply routes to other mines on the same planet.

Oh my God, what is it?! If they want to use a good profile of the helicopter for the model of the spacecraft, they need to know that the KA-50 looks quite different. It is a good idea, but let's not turn this into a bad cartoon.

Any reference that can help someone visualize futuristic ship,
architectural or component concepts is a plus in my book! :D
