Sounds like a plan! :D
Just hope you have enough resin or whatever it uses to
print with, since making it bigger would do it justice!
.
:o

I dont use resin type printers, I have the FDM type printers, the type that uses filaments, so it just uses PLA/ABS filament, much much cheaper to make my models and such and the quality comes out the same if I crank the settings up to the max.

Anyways, I just wanted to see if he had got it and what he thought of it. Im sorry for hijacking the thread with this stuff, was just curious was all.

Not sure, since I can't see the beginning of the thread for some reason? Since I keep getting this dumb error trying to search and read any previous posts prior to a few weeks ago or last month w/e:
No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame.

But I think ObiWan is busy with other things atm? o.o

He was.
Been back for some time now.

Like many other descent forums he joins. He posts a few times and then goes on to the next thing that grabs his attention. hehe
He mainly plays that game Primal Carnage under a different name now a days. So finding him in these forums again will be a long while. lol

Cool update, but how big is that model? A few inches I imagine, since any bigger as a solid model would take a bit of filament.

Well in one of his pics you can see the bottom of his keyboard. So you can kinda see the scale.

it wasnt really that big, like 2 - 2 1/2 inch cubed probably, and you can print some pretty big things, but due to infill settings, the ship is actually almost completely hollow, so a big one wouldnt use that much more filament really. If you look closely at the bottom of the ship, you'll see octagon shapes or kinda circle shapes inside of it, that's the infill setting I have, and it makes it hollow so it doesnt use much filament, but also makes it very strong due to everything being put together in a locking octagonal pattern inside.

Also, welcome back to the forums obi-wan :P
