Didnt want it to change shape so much that it pops outside the shield though eh - but agree thatd be a cool mechanic. Right so we have two types of phys shapes - one is the spherical shape of the shield itself and thats what we use to wall slide around the level geometry. Any change in physical shape is purely cosmetic towards that functionality so no worries there. When you do lose shields though (in terms of HP) theres a 2nd more complicated hitbox that's used for hit detection and those parts of the hitbox are tied to major bones in the animset. So the hitbox on an unshielded player is what you need to shoot to score hull damage and yes your shape does come into play, but the ship still flies around collision wise on the sphere of the shield physics wise. Anyways, rule is fly well then look cool in that order.

will there be any way to change the skins of the ship, for instance, change it back to the white looking one? That one looked awesome.

I've been hearing some flak about not being able to save favorite servers through steam, since it doesn't seem to support it in the provide game server browser - so my question is the Proving Grounds Demo going to support faves for non steam instances of the game :?:

So players can easily get back to their favorite clan/group where all their friends are playing :?:

In addition to that, since non beta testers can't comment on content they weren't privy to first hand in the 'Closed Beta' feeds: like the PG: Game Modes? I think it might be cool to allow maps & mods in PG for the less fortunate gamers that can't afford new hardware to even think about playing the game in UE4 when it comes out.

Any plans to make PGD available in UT3 as a mod?
Since it's basically the same engine as the UDK! :D
