Hello Draken, welcome!

Thank you very much for your words :D

We're still around and going strong! A bit quiet on the public side but you bet we're at it every day; getting the project closer and closer to you all.

Again, thanks for the support!

Good call, Hawk! Been a while since we've posted any new media :) Here you go guys, one of the ships you'll be able to fly! Enjoy!

Please keep in mind I'm not yet done with it so a few things are missing and others aren't final.

Awesome!

By the look of things I'm guessing that's an armoured cockpit with no glass canopy?

Looks like a ultra fast HotRod! :o
Maybe some of the modders could think up some sort of beefy
looking engine that might fit in the space behind the cockpit!☺
Something like a repair station map, with different engines for
the various ways players use their ships in unique play styles!

Or is that reserved munitions? :D

First off, thanks to all you guys who come visiting in here all the time hoping to see something new - this sneak peak hiding here in the forum is for you.

So ... We asked DuderSeb to go make an awesome ship, but somehow what we got back instead is a ship that looks awesome in a whole bunch of different ways. The genius of his design will be revealed more fully once you start noticing what weapons your friends are picking up and how that causes their ships start switch-blading into other shapes.

Skeletal controllers are basically like muscles. If the middle image doesn't make any sense to you, then all you need to know is that Mr Eclipse has been working out in the gym... A lot. But if you do recognize what the bottom half of an AnimTree is, each of those sliders gives us total control over a muscle - expect some surprises, esp once sitting in a glassless cockpit wearing an oculus rift in the campaign version perhaps. (Pro Tip: If you see an enemy gun-slinging the MAC in your direction - hit the boost and run for it). Shhhh ... don't tell your friends.

NOTE: These ships do not have the new paint job on them as shown..

Thanks for showing us. Every time you all post something new it makes the wait a bit more bearable (and the excitement even greater). That ship is really sweet. I'm a bit perturbed by the lack of resemblance to this:

but only because I loved the concept art so much. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into engineering the new shape and animation to make it at least semi realistic, something I heartily approve. The idea of a Swiss Army ship is fantastic, I just hope that it doesn't cause to many collision shenanigans with the maps.

Well, damn me, I wasn't expecting that! Mind = completely blown.

Clearly there's a ton of work being put into this new ship and it looks to be really paying off. Thanks for sharing the pics!

After what Yoshimitsu said, thinking about collisions, maybe it could be an interesting aspect to certain maps if there were very small passages (e.g. pipes?, vents?) that the ship could only travel along with all weapons retracted. A way to sneak between locations at the penalty of not being able to immediately ambush someone as your weapons would have to switchblade back into position for a second after leaving the "crawlspace".

Just a random thought that upon reflection probably wouldn't be much fun in actual gameplay. :D
