Hi, I'm Kevin and I'm based out of Toronto, Canada.

I'm a student, filling up an illustration portfolio, but I have some formal training for modelling and texturing. As of now, I have joined the project in order to help with the props modelling.
I hope to be able to contribute to this project and be able to accumulate experience from both the 2d and 3d artists here.

I see four more members have found their way from the design doc to the forum. Welcome everyone, you've been made part of the group.

Oh cool, you bet. Not all of those songs got approval and were written for exploratory purposes only (so you'll find they vary by style). Enjoy. :)

Hi. I'm Abram. An american animator dude who just moved to Miami from Shanghai- and I love Descent.

I have about 8 years of professional experience in 3d animation, motion graphics, visual effects, compositing. Check out my work here so you can ask me to do stuff, please! https://vimeo.com/abraminmotion

I've been a massive Descent fan since I was 12 or 13 and am extremely excited to help out on this project. I'm not sure what to do, so please don't hesitate to ask me for anything!

Welcome!
If we continue on the path with the story-writing we have now we'll probably need lots of cutscenes, so don't worry you'll have something to do :D.
I was getting worried we wouldn't find someone to do that actually.

Hello everyone.

Just quickly popped in to read up on a few things and to come say hi.
I'm from South Africa, I'm 30 years old and I'm a 3D generalist and have recently started sculpting and really enjoying it. I'm a massive Descent fan and love all games so when I came across this I could not for the life of me pass on the opportunity to work on something this awesome.

What I would like to help with is everything, but what I will try to focus on till then is the static meshes and textures as when I joined I heard that those need attention and will try do as much as I can whenever I can.
Currently I'm trying to see how things work and where to get reference and to basically just wrap my head around as to how it works here so will throughout the next week or 2 try do that and if possible also start cranking out the models, textures or materials where needed. I do have a little bit of UDK experience.

I dont have anything spectacular to show and I am currently working on updating my portfolio, but if you guys are interested you are more then welcome to have a look.
